Our Profile
AHeadStart is a fast-growing business situated in Christchurch, Canterbury. AHeadStart provides one-on-one and group tuition in all mathematics and
science subjects. AHeadStart can help primary school students Years 7 & 8, and specialises in assisting secondary school students in Years 9 to 13, particularly those studying towards New Zealand NCEA Levels 1-3. AHeadStart also
provides lessons for adult students and refresher mathematics.
AHeadStart identifies the areas which a student needs strengthening and develops a customised programme of tuition. The student is provided with immediate
and positive feedback to help them stay on track. Tuition begins with an initial assessment, which is followed by foundation and reinforcement.
AHeadStart is a member of the New Zealand Association for Science Education.
Our Vision
Many students struggle with mathematical and scientific concepts, both of which are fundamental in our rapidly progressing world. AHeadStart firmly believes that with expert guidance and encouragement all
students have the ability to succeed in mathematics and science.
Our aim is to help every student discover their own individual learning style, so that learning is enjoyable, interesting as well as ultimately successful. Students prepared with life-long skills
for learning will find it easier and be more motivated to succeed.
