For students wanting coaching, motivation and monitored progress in personalised one-on-one tutorials. Students also have access to additional study support at any time.
For parents wanting to track student progress, with tutorial summaries posted online weekly. Parents can post comments which go directly to the tutor.
How it works:

Tutor works one-on-one with the student, guiding them through the tutorial.

Tutor provides a weekly study plan, with a focus on practise of previous NCEA exams. Completion of homework will be monitored every week.

Tutor monitors student progress compared to a subject checklist (maximum of 2 subjects per weekly tutorial, although 1 subject is recommended).

Tutor can prepare tutorial content in advance, at the request of the student.

Students must purchase NCEA Exam Booklets* to use during the sessions (as well as at home), and can bring textbooks and class work they have questions about.

The tutor answers student questions during the tutorial and provides study tips.

Tutorial summaries are posted online weekly. Both students and parents can access this via a private login and post comments which go directly to the tutor.

Students have access to study support outside the tutorial, either online or via text. This can be very beneficial before class tests & NCEA Internal assessments.
Limitations of the Platinum PLUS Plan:

Students must commit to weekly tutorials (see Terms & Conditions).

Students can only have assistance in a maximum of 2 subjects.

*Booklets of practice NCEA exam papers must be purchased for $20 per subject.

*Please note that tutors can only comment on observations made in the tutorial, as they cannot follow the students classroom progress.
Weekly Tutorial Summaries:
Tutorial summaries will be posted online weekly as part of the Platinum PLUS Plan.
Both students and parents can access this via a private login and post comments which go directly to the tutor.

Online access to the Comprehensive Progress Reports.

The ability to post comments which go directly to the tutor.

To follow the number of tutorials which have occurred.
This allows parents to become involved in tutorials, without actually being there.

Additional study support is available at any time on the Platinum PLUS Plan.

The use of a discussion page on Facebook is preferable as previously asked questions will be available to view to all students on the Platinum PLUS Plan.
Students, who have last-minute questions about their schoolwork outside of tutorials, will benefit from this service. This will be especially useful prior to class tests, and NCEA Internal & External assessments.
