1. FEES
* Fees for Personal Coach Plan (Platinum) are $50 per hour. Fees for Personal
Advisor Plan (Gold) are $45 per hour. Fees for Advisor Plan (Silver) are $35 per hour.
* All fees are payable directly to AHeadStart Ltd by either cheque or direct banking. No fees are to be paid directly to the tutor, either by cash, cheque or direct banking.
* Payment must be received in full, at least 24 hours before commencement of the tutorial, preferably by automatic payment; otherwise the scheduled tutorial will not occur.
* If you require the tutor to travel to you for tuition an extra charge of $10 will also apply per tutorial.
* If 10 tutorials are booked and paid for in advance a 10% discount rate will apply (including travel costs).
* Prices may be subject to change, however a terms advance warning will be given in writing.
2. TUTORIALS
* Scheduled tutorials will occur weekly, fortnightly or casually as agreed prior,
on the day, time and venue that is mutually convenient to the tutor and the student/parent/guardian.
* Changes to the regular scheduled tutorials must be arranged at least 48 hours prior.
* Tutorials will continue until a mutually agreed termination date, which must be arranged at least one week prior.
* Scheduled tutorials occur during secondary school terms, but may also be requested during term breaks and summer holidays.
* It is the parents or guardians responsibility to ensure that tuition that occurs in the students home occurs in a living area in the presence of a parent or guardian.
3. CANCELLATION
* If you are not satisfied with the first tutorial and cancel any following
tutorials your fees will be refunded and no more tutorials will be provided.
* Tutorials cancelled by the student/parent/guardian with less than 48 hours' notice will be billed to the student/parent/guardian (except under exceptional circumstances) at a rate of no more than one hour of instruction.
* One tutorial out of each set of ten tutorials, whether paid in advance or not, may be missed. Any more tutorials missed will be charged at the regular rate. The missed tutorial, must be paid before commencement of the next tutorial, as well as the payment for the
tutorial.
* If cancellation of a tutorial occurs two times in a row the student/parent/guardian understands that the scheduled tutorial time may not again be available.
* If a student is late or shortens a tutorial without advance notice full payment for the tutorial must still be made.
4. CANCELLATION IF 10 TUTORIALS ARE PAID IN ADVANCE
* If 10 tutorials are booked and paid for in advance at 10% discount and the full
10 tutorials are not used the student/parent/guardian will be reimbursed for the remaining tutorials; however the 10% discount will no longer apply.
5. ACADEMIC RESPONSIBILITY
* AHeadStart Ltd strives to provide the best possible service. However, AHeadStart
Ltd will not be held accountable or responsible for the academic success or lack thereof demonstrated by the student. Although AHeadStart Tuition will do everything in its power to help grades and skill sets improve, AHeadStart can offer no guarantee.
6. CHANGES
* These terms and conditions are subject to change. We reserve the right to change
these terms of use from time to time by publishing the changed terms on this website. You should review these terms of use periodically to be aware of such changes. Your continuing access or use of this service following such publication shall be deemed your acceptance of
the revised terms of use.
7. LIABILITY
* AHeadStart Ltd is not liable for any direct, incidental, consequential, indirect,
special, punitive or similar damages arising out of use of its tutoring service, or any errors or omissions in the content of its materials. You, the student/parent/guardian, specifically waive any and all claims arising out of the use of this tutoring service.
8. NEWSLETTER
* AHeadStart Ltd strives to provide the best possible service, which includes
keeping parents and students informed about special offers, NZQA news, and relevant information about NCEA. You, the student/parent/guardian agree to receive the AHeadStart Newsletter, in accordance with the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act 2007.
9. COPYRIGHT
* All materials AHeadStart Ltd creates in-house are copyright, and provided to the
student specifically as an educational aid. You agree that you will not publish or distribute any portion of any materials without prior written permission from AHeadStart Ltd.
