Aira

Hi there! I'm Aira and I tutor Calculus, Economics, Geography, Maths and Statistics for AHeadStart. I have acquired excellence and merit endorsements throughout these subjects while I was in High School and also Levels 1, 2 and 3 excellence endorsements. I can confidently say that my understanding for these subjects are very thorough. I am now in my third year studying Bachelor of Commerce in University of Canterbury majoring in Accounting and Finance. Most of the material I have learnt in High School are still fresh on my mind and being able to tutor someone will mean these concepts will stay on my mind. That's one of the things that I find very fascinating with tutoring.

I was a Year 13 Prefect at Mount Hutt College and also the Head of the Magazine Committee. I managed to do volunteering like football coaching and many more. Having done these extracurricular activities, it helped me get many awards at the end my High School year including the Innovative and Excellence Award and Citizenship Award and also the First Year International Scholarship from UC.

In my past time, I like to play the guitar, sing, dance, watch YouTube videos, hang out with my friends, watch TV, read books, take photos, and watch a lot of TV, yes I already said that. I also love to play football. I love exploring and going on adventures.

I am very passionate when it comes to school and study when I have the time. I am a well-rounded, cheerful and kind person. I am very approachable and can explain things very easily. I am very versatile so I can adjust to tutor the way the student learns best.
