Kezia

Hi, I’m Kezia and I’m a Biology, Classics, English, History & Statistics tutor with AHeadStart. I am in my first year of a law degree at UC and am also studying English and political science. 

In 2020 I graduated from Middleton Grange School as Proxime Accessit. I achieved excellence endorsements across all levels of NCEA, with subject excellence endorsements in nearly all my subjects. I won the Year 13 Humanities award and came first in English and history, second in biology, third in classics and fourth in statistics. I also passed the NZQA scholarship English exam. This has equipped me with a thorough understanding of the NCEA system, and an appreciation of what is required to achieve highly in any standard.

I am Latin American dancer and have competed at the national level. Alongside dance, I spend my spare time hanging out with friends, reading, and exercising. As a dancer, I appreciate how challenging it can be to balance school and extra-curriculars and can offer advice for how to deal with this.

I have a genuine passion for the subjects I tutor and am highly driven to help students succeed. Above all, I hope to share this passion with others, and to show that NCEA is not as daunting as it is often portrayed.
