Hank

Kia ora! My name is Hank and I am currently a 4th year medical student doing placement in Christchurch Hospital. I tutor Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, Calculus (up to level 3) and Mandarin (up to year 10). 

I graduated from Westlake Boys High School in Auckland in 2020 with excellence endorsement in NCEA level 2 and 3 as well as gaining NZQA Biology Scholarship. I’ve achieved 9.0 GPA across 7 papers in first year of university before enrolling medicine. 

My teaching strategy would be focusing on helping student study efficiently so they could develop a balance lifestyle. While this is my first year with AHeadStart, I  have tutoring experience with high school and primary school students in the past. As well mentor for residential college and second year medical student. 

Outside of study, I enjoy joining student exec. groups, distance running, swimming and recently interested in singing! I enjoy having genuine connections with people, and look forward to share my study experience and make tutorial sessions with me valuable for you. 

I am based in Christchurch City and available for in person teaching.
