Caroline

My name is Caroline and I am a tutor for NCEA-Level English, Classical Studies, History, Social Studies, and Religious Education. I am currently a fourth-year student at the University of Canterbury, studying towards a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Politics and English. I am particularly interested in environmental law and politics and it is my goal to go into this area once I graduate at the end of 2025.

In 2020, I graduated as Dux from Villa Maria College in Christchurch, and received NCEA excellence endorsements throughout Levels 1, 2, and 3. I was also awarded an NCEA English Scholarship in 2020. I am passionate about working with students to find ways of studying that works for them and to help them achieve success in their NCEA journey.

Alongside studying and tutoring, I work at a local pizza restaurant and love cooking for my friends and family. I also enjoy long distance running and going tramping around all of New Zealand’s beautiful scenery! It is a goal of mine to run the Christchurch Marathon this year.

I am very passionate about the subjects I tutor and have followed them through the entirety of my University studies. I look forward to be able to helping students around Christchurch tackle NCEA and achieve well in the process!
