Antonio

Hello! I am Antonio. I tutor English, History, Classics, Geography, Statistics and French. At the University of Canterbury, I am studying towards a double degree in Law and Arts (French and Classics).

I studied at Cashmere High School from 2017 to 2021. During my studies at high school, I strived towards achieving the best I could. I gained Excellence endorsements in NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3. Each year, I gained Excellence subject endorsements in all my subjects. In Year 13, I achieved NZQA scholarships in History, Geography and Statistics. In Year 13 I was also first in Classics, French and social sciences, and awarded the University of Canterbury Hiranga Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and the Law and Business First Year Award for Excellence.

Outside of my studies, I am in a fencing club and the University of Canterbury debating club.  On Monday nights I take Italian lessons. I also like playing the guitar and keyboard. When the weather is nice I enjoy skateboarding with my friends. When my friends are busy, I read books and build bicycles as projects.

As a tutor, I aim to help students thrive in assessments and exams. I am eager to show younger students what I have learnt, and believe that I can help students achieve their fullest potentials.
