Nika

Hello, I am Nika. I tutor primary school students and secondary school Maths, Science, Calculus, Statistics and Physics at AHeadStart tutoring. I am passionate about mathematics and physics. I am currently studying mechanical engineering at the University of Canterbury and I am in my fourth year.

During my schooling at Burnside High School I learnt about balancing schoolwork with life as I played for the first XI soccer team. This took up a lot of my time and taught me the importance of managing my time well to achieve desired results. I have achieved excellence endorsements in Level 1 and 2 Mathematics with A or A* in IGCSE Mathematics. I gained Merit Endorsements in Level 2 and 3 Physics being very close to excellence endorsements. I have also achieved a B or above in the three mathematics papers and one physics paper I have taken at university.

Outside of my studies I play in the Nomads United Men’s Premier League Football Team. I am also part of the University of Canterbury Motorsport team which builds an open wheel race car from scratch to race in Australia at the end of every year.
