Kilian

Hi, my name is Kilian! I am new to the AHeadStart team and I will be tutoring Physics and Maths. Currently, I am studying Civil Engineering at the University of Canterbury, and I will be starting my second year in February 2018.

I was born in Germany and moved to Christchurch with my family in 2012, where I attended Cashmere High School for years 9 to 13 and completed NCEA, achieving an Excellence Endorsement on all three levels. About midway through high school I started developing a passion for science and mathematics, which ultimately led me to choosing Engineering as my field of study in which I am also excelling with an A+ average.

Outside of University I have a variety of interests, mainly within sports and music. Not only have I played the cello for 14 years and occasionally tutored it as well, but I also regularly play football and volleyball.

I believe that my diverse background has equipped me well to be able to help you succeed in and enjoy NCEA, so that you’re ready for whatever challenges come afterwards.
