Hi! I am Samuel and I tutor Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics with AHeadStart. In high school, I obtained excellent results placing me in the top 3.6% of the state and received multiple industry scholarships. I have completed a BSc in Chemistry from the University of Auckland and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Water Resource Management from The Universities of Canterbury and Lincoln. I am heading back to university this year to become qualified as a Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics high school teacher so that I can pursue my passion for STEM communication, advocating and education.

I have experience helping students with a wide range of abilities from high achievers to those struggling with learning disabilities, in particular, dyslexia.

I have worked in several laboratories and engineering sites so have industry experience applying my academic success to real-world applications. I am keen to train new engineers and scientists and can give advice on future study options to interested students.

Outside of my studies, I keep fit with running competing in long distance categories and hiking throughout the Southern Alps. I am also a keen player of board and computer games which keep me connected with my friends throughout the world.
