Andrew

Hi, my name is Andrew and I tutor Physics, Chemistry, Music, Maths, Statistics and Calculus. I am a second-year student at the University of Canterbury studying towards a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Astronomy. My love for these subjects took me as far as the US when I, and 3 other kiwi students, attended an International Space Camp in 2019. 

I graduated from Scots College in 2019 with the second-best results for that year, receiving first of subject awards in Chemistry and Music and second in Calculus. Alongside this, I achieved NZQA scholarship exams in Statistics and Chemistry in Year 13.

Outside of academics, I was a keen sportsman in high school, particularly in cricket, where I played for the 1st XI, but as well as rugby, handball, and water polo. I am also very passionate about music, playing both the piano and alto saxophone, for which I have completed Grade 8 Trinity exams, in the school orchestra and jazz bands.  

I am looking forward to the opportunity to assist current students with their academic progress and to share some of the knowledge I wish I had when I was in their shoes.
