Charlotte

Hi! I’m Charlotte and I can tutor Mathematics, Science, English up to Year 11 and Visual Art up to Year 12. I am in my fourth in final year of Engineering at the University of Canterbury, majoring in Natural Resources Engineering. Along with this, I’m also working towards a Diploma in Global Humanitarian Engineering.

I graduated from Pukekohe High School in 2018 and have since made Christchurch my home. I was awarded the Go Waitaha Canterbury scholarship which kick-started my journey at UC. I received excellence endorsement at NCEA level 1, merit at level 2, and merit and excellence subject endorsements across all three NCEA levels. I received subject endorsements in all subjects I tutor.

Outside of university I enjoy running, hiking, and during winter you’ll definitely catch me up Mt Hutt. I’ve had many leadership and mentoring roles over the years. I went on to become a student leader for the Go Waitaha Canterbury scholarship, supporting first year students in the program. I have also been a house leader in high school and a secondary school mentor while at UC.

I’ve always been passionate about giving back and I think that tutoring is an awesome opportunity for me to help students in the same position I was once in. Learning is a journey we all navigate differently but sharing that journey makes it more attainable.
