Tracy

Hi there, I’m Tracy. I tutor primary school students of all levels, as well as English and Maths to students in years 9-10. I’m a trained primary school teacher, currently employed in a high school, where I teach students with a full range of learning needs. I have taught children from aged 5 and I know the New Zealand curriculum well.

I completed my Master’s degree in Educational Psychology (with academic honours) several years ago, but have returned to tertiary study again, with the aim of registering as an educational psychologist. My passion lies in working with students who need additional learning support, and teaching them the strategies they need to be successful.

In addition to teaching in New Zealand school systems, I have also taught in an International Baccalaureate (IB) system in Singapore. My professional and academic backgrounds have enabled me to develop a unique skillset: I know exactly where students need to be working to succeed, and the steps they need to take to get there (and just as importantly, how we can have fun along the way!)
