Sulbin

Hello my name is Sulbin. I teach maths and the sciences. I am an ex-medical student currently studying towards another career in tech. I may have a different background to other tutors, but I have an excellent academic record and a large amount of tutoring experience.

Back in high school I have achieved Excellence endorsements in all levels of NCEA with a particular focus in the mathematics and the sciences. This carried on during my university studies with an A+ average in my first year which helped my admission into Otago medical school. After some years in medical school I’ve decided that it was not the right path for me and am now preparing towards a career in IT.

Ever since high school, I’ve been tutoring students ranging from primary to university levels. For four years, I have helped local students learn concepts and techniques that they were finding difficult and have introduced new ideas that they may not have thought of before. I know how to teach students that are struggling to find their footing or even those that have fast tracked their way. I find that a bit of encouragement and positive thinking goes a long way for a lot of students out there.

I plan to tutor using the experiences and expertise that I have built over these years. I hope to see you this year.
