Aarya

Hey! My name is Aarya. I am a first-year engineering student studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering specialising in Mechatronics at the University of Canterbury. I would love to be your tutor for Physics, Mathematics, Calculus, Chemistry and Spanish. I can also tutor in Year 9-11 English.

I graduated from Burnside High School with distinction in 2022, where I have completed all three NCEA levels with excellence endorsement, alongside earning a scholarship in digital technologies. Over my high school years, I have entered many digital technology competitions and earnt prestigious awards among them. My most prized achievements are coming first place in the WEN Design Competition 2021 by making a 3D-modelled rotating necklace and first place in the Grapple Camp where my team made a renewable water turbine that could be placed in the gutters of homes.

Outside of school, I spend my time playing and coaching table tennis, building robots for combat and vex robotics, learning languages, painting and playing the guitar. I’m always keen to learn something new, so don’t be afraid to come chat with me!

I am based in Christchurch and am available for in-person or online tutorials. School can be daunting however, I am here to help.
