Kanu

Hey! My name is Kanu and I am a Calculus, Statistics, and Physics tutor with AHeadStart. I finished my Mechanical Engineering Degree in 2018 during which I became a member of the Golden Key International Honours Society. After finishing my degree I spent a year in Germany doing research. I have now returned to Canterbury to do my Masters in International Relations and Foreign Policy.

Throughout my degree and beyond I have found that interest in a subject and awareness of the real world applications of the topic are essential to achieving highly no matter the subject. This means that as a tutor I value achievement as well as developing enthusiasm for the subject equally and try to make students interested in the topics we cover. My experience with tutoring, my studies, and research allow me to put problems into context, making learning more fun and more rewarding!

I consider myself a very social and fun person, I love playing foosball and Mariokart with my flatmates, playing the guitar and reading. I also enjoy skiing and sports.
