Hello! I'm Anna, a science and maths tutor at AHeadStart. During my last year at school I spent a life changing month overseas representing New Zealand at the London International Youth Science Forum. This led me to now be in my fourth and final year studying Mechatronics Engineering at Canterbury University.

Despite the time off school, I completed NCEA Level 3 with merit overall after achieving excellence in both Levels 1 and 2, giving me a sound understanding of what is required to succeed. The other high point of the year was receiving the Lamb & Hayward Scholarship to recognise academic performance, leadership, service to the school, and cultural and sporting achievement at Rangiora High School.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, dragon boating, tramping, watersport, tennis, mountain biking, piano, violin and ukelele as well as having a passion for learning. I enjoy using my skills to help others achieve their goals, and believe that with good time management, dedication, and a positive attitude you can achieve anything. I look forward to helping you do this.
