Amelia

Hi there! I'm Amelia and I have been tutoring Mathematics, Chemistry and Science at AHeadStart for the past couple of years. I have just completed my third year of a Bachelor of Science (majoring in economics and finance) at the University of Canterbury. I went to High School at Wellington Girls' College where priority is put on teaching NCEA well. I graduated with excellence endorsements in level 1 and 2 and a merit endorsement in level 3 NCEA.

Having been through this system recently, I know what you need to do to pass and excel! I will help you progress to meet your goals and the required standards. I am friendly, patient and good at explaining concepts and what you need to do to solve problems. I am very easy to get along with and I have lots of ideas to help you do better in your examinations.

In my spare time I like to read, cook, and socialise. I also love sailing when I can get back to Wellington, tramping in the summer, and getting outside as much as possible!
