Regan

Hi, I’m Regan and I’m a Physics, Calculus and Mathematics tutor and I’m currently in my 3rd year of a Bachelor of Science majoring in Physics and minoring in Maths.

I was born and raised in Gore, where I attended Gore High School. I achieved Excellence endorsed in Level 3 Calculus and Merit in Physics, and internal assessments were my bread and butter. However, once making the move to study Maths and Physics at the University of Canterbury, I got considerably better at examinations, so I understand a various range of techniques to improve at external and internal assessments. My favourite thing about Maths and Physics is that there is no one perfect answer or explanation, so the key to understanding both subjects is to find the explanations that makes sense to you!

I am very passionate about Maths and Physics, and am over the moon for the opportunity to pass on what I know to others, and help them achieve the best results they can. When I’m not studying, you can find me playing or watching football (I’m a lot better at the watching part) and I love listening to all kinds of music and cooking in my spare time too!
