Rokhan

Hi, my name is Rokhan. Last year I graduated from Christchurch Boys’ High School and I am now studying first year engineering at the University of Canterbury. I did very well during my time at Christchurch Boys’ High School. In Year 13 I achieved an overall Excellence Endorsement, as well as Excellences in all my Calculus and Physics papers, and Excellence Endorsement in Statistics. I also did the Star Mathematics course at the University of Canterbury last year and achieved an A+ which I received a scholarship for, along with the Hiranga Scholarship I received for Academic Excellence.

In my down time I usually listen to music. I like to find explore different genres and find new artists. Last year I made use of my time participating in my school hockey and football teams while also playing squash recreationally, but this year I will be focusing on football and trying to hone my skills.

I enjoy tutoring as it gives me a sense of accomplishment when I help a student understand something they’ve been having trouble with. I am an experienced tutor and I understand that I need to adapt my teaching style for each student. I look forward to helping my students reach their full potential.
