Alexandria

Hello! My name is Alexandria. I tutor Accounting, Business, Economics, Statistics (all levels) and Mathematics (primary school up to NCEA Level 1). I am in my second year of studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Taxation at the University of Canterbury.

I graduated from Middleton Grange School in 2024 as the Proxime Accessit to the Dux. I gained Excellence endorsed in NCEA levels 1, 2 and 3, as well as many Excellence subject endorsements. In both year 12 and 13, I came 1st in Accounting, Business, and Economics. Additionally, in Year 13, I also placed 1st in Statistics. In Year 13, I received a NZQA scholarship in Statistics. During my first year of university, I placed first in one of my Accounting courses, as well as in Macroeconomics and Management. I placed second in Statistics and Microeconomics, and I received the overall 100‑level Economics Prize.

In my spare time, I enjoy baking, knitting, ballet and spending time with friends and family.

I am passionate about all of the subjects that I tutor. I truly enjoy helping students to succeed at school and achieve their goals by getting alongside and encouraging them. As a tutor I am really looking forward to sharing different ways to study and understand topics, so you can learn in the way that suits you best.
