Joseph

Hey! My name is Joseph, and I tutor Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics, all up to NCEA Level 3. I am a first year studying a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) at the University of Canterbury and plan to major in Chemical and Process Engineering in my first professional year.

I went to Christchurch Boys’ High School, where I achieved Merit endorsement across all three years, as well as excelling particularly in Calculus, Chemistry, and Physics, and earnt the title of Blue Scholar during my time at the school. I have a deep knowledge in all three subjects I tutor, having reached further learning at UC which provides insights into the deeper principles of certain phenomena and concepts.

I am deeply passionate about the subjects I tutor, but I also have other hobbies. I am a huge rugby fan, as well as an ex-rower and hiking enthusiast. I am also speak conversational level Spanish, having learnt it as a child.
