Tessa

Hi, my name is Tessa! I am currently studying towards a Bachelor of Engineering with Honours and a Diploma of Humanitarian and Global Engineering at the University of Canterbury.

During my final year of high school I was lucky enough to be chosen as a Camp Senior Leader and an HST member (my school's peer support group) which gave me the opportunity to help younger students reach their full potential. I also, during my last two years of high school, coordinated a dance group for younger students.

These responsibilities allowed me to develop as both a leader and mentor and to build a toolkit of skills that aid me well for tutoring.

I finished NCEA Level 3 in 2016 and so have a very up to date knowledge of the NCEA system. I endorsed with Excellence at NCEA Level 1 and with Merit at Levels 2 and 3.

I have had previous experience tutoring and enjoy the challenge of adapting my teaching style to fit each individual student's needs.
