Lucy

Hello, my name is Lucy and I am in my first year of studying a BSc in Physics at the University of Canterbury. The subjects I am able to tutor are Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Calculus, and Mathematics (including Cambridge).

Having graduated from Burnside High School in 2024, I still have a refreshed and comprehensive understanding of the NCEA content. I have Excellence Endorsements for each NCEA level, and in my last year of high school, I was the top student for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. As someone who is passionate about my studies, I would love to help other students succeed in their education.

In my spare time I like to tramp, bike, bake, and paint. I’ve also been playing tennis for several years now. I consider myself a patient and friendly person and I really enjoy helping others. I know that learning is a different journey for everyone so finding the right learning style for students is important to me.

I would be most excited to share my enthusiasm for some of my favourite subjects and to help you achieve your goals!
