Olivia

My name is Olivia and I tutor English, primary school Mathematics, Media Studies, Art History, Social Studies, Classics and History. What I love about these subjects is that they allow you to be creative with your learning. Fictional or not, stories are so important in helping us navigate the world around us and I’d love to be able to help you with this.

Born and raised in Christchurch, I was a student at Ao Tawhiti Unlimited Discovery highschool where I received NCEA level 1 with merit and both levels 2 and 3 with excellence. 

I am in the final year of my undergraduate degree at the University of Canterbury where I major in Psychology and Art History and Theory. I also study Linguistics and Anthropology. I excel at my studies and I am in the top 15% of students at my university with membership with the Golden Key International Honour Society. I have internship experience at both Christchurch City Libraries and the Teece Museum of Classical Antiquities. 

When I’m not studying (or tutoring you lovely people!) I volunteer with a non-profit that provides art tuition/therapy for individuals with special needs and intellectual disabilities. In my free time I love to go for walks around the port hills, watch tv shows with my family, or cozy up with a book in a nice cafe.
