Keetley

Hello I’m Keetley! I can tutor in Mathematics, Calculus and their other associated subjects such as Physics. I am also quite comfortable in teaching digital technologies and programming skills if you need some help with those. I am currently studying for a BSc in Mathematics and Computer science, with interests in areas like AI and computational modelling. As you might imagine I am very enthusiastic about teaching in these areas.

I attended Burnside High School, graduating in 2018 with excellence and merit endorsements overall and in my subjects of choice. I was also a tutor for drop-in lunchtime tutoring sessions for anyone who needed the help. I was also a member of the chemistry club who taught lab safety procedures and simple chemistry demonstrations to primary and intermediate students.

While studying at the University and Canterbury I achieved a GPA of 8.0, as well as a UC Mathematics and Statistics scholarship and plan to graduate with honours and perhaps even stay for a PhD. At UC I have also been an ENGME tutor who ran help sessions for first year engineering students in an effort to make the transition from high school to university less daunting. When I’m not buried in textbooks you can find me working on my own coding projects whilst enjoying the cozy ambience of a cafe, out on a nature walk or skating at the ice rink.

I know how difficult school and exams can be, looking back at times harder than studying at university in my opinion. So I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve greatness in your schooling and NCEA endeavours!
