One-on-one Business Studies Tuition in Christchurch
A course about the fundamental concepts viable businesses use to make decisions and improve business operations over time to become sustainable and successful.
The study of business aims to understand how individuals and groups who form businesses go about planning and implementing strategies to create and develop goods and services for customers. Students who study business will develop their understanding of business theory and practices in a range of relevant contexts.
It's importat to consider how business is influenced by, and impacts, on cultural, ethical, environmental, political, and economic conditions. This includes issues such as sustainability, enterprise, politics and globalisation, as these are central to both business success and the study of business.
The knowledge and skills gained in business studies, can help create innovative and enterprising young people who have the ability to contribute to the economic future of New Zealand.
Level 2
Students of Business Studies will learn through practice to develop a business that not only makes a profit, but also provides a community focus and improves social wellbeing. Through this process they will develop innovative thinking skills to come up with business ideas, and plan, design, produce and market a product to sell. Students will also learn how to design and collect data that can impact the success of business so they can connect the right product with the right people.
Level 3
In this programme students set up and run a real business. unleashing their inner entrepreneur and experiencing the start-up world first-hand. Each company creates their own product or service, develops a marketing plan to suit their business in the current market, and sells it over several months. This is a year long business activity and is primarily based on group work.
